We lost Molly to a nephrosplenic entrapment colic in December of 2023. Below is Molly’s original page so we can remember her unique personality and contribution to Firefly Farm.
Molly Grue’s past is not so happy – but her future sure is! Molly spent time as a trail company mount in Tennessee before sadly finding herself in a kill pen. She was rescued from the kill pen, but unfortunately landed in a scenario where her owner could not take care of her. Since arriving at Firefly Farm, good nutrition, good farrier work, and lots of love and good riding from the lesson kids have turned her life all the way around and she is blossoming as a beginner riding lesson horse!
Likes: Apples, standing on the yoga blocks and going on trail rides!
Dislikes: Going more than 3 mph!
