Firefly Farm & Pony Lessons, LLC was founded in 2020 and is proudly owned and operated by Beth Clymer. We offer horseback riding and horsemanship lessons for kids in Chatt Hills. We’re also convenient to Fairburn, Palmetto, South Fulton, Peachtree City, and Newnan. We teach in an English saddle with a background in dressage, jumping and eventing. Complete beginners are encouraged. Those who are just checking out the sport to see if they like it are welcome. Dreamers who have been bit by the “horse-bug”: bring ‘em on!
At Firefly Farm, young riders will learn confidence and empathy and get great exercise in a beautiful, serene setting! A solid foundation of horsemanship is emphasized at every step that can be carried on through any discipline.
Good horsemanship is at the core of our program. We teach young riders how to safely and confidently groom, handle, lead and ride. We also take our aspiring riders to clinics, cross country schooling sessions, and local schooling shows. Our goal is to provide affordable access to horseback riding for all, foster love of horses in young riders, and develop skills useful in life (patience, courage, character, problem solving, and compassion among others!) We treat each child as an individual – safety and fun come first, and every lesson is tailored to your rider’s goals! Spots are limited.
